Hapdate setelah sekian lama tak hapdate.. hehehe

Sejak kebelakangan ini aku sering mendengar sahaja di frequensi... Baru-baru ini aku ke lembah kelang atas tujuan kerja. Ketika dalam perjalanan aku mendegar sahaja di repeater² yang dapat didengari... sambil-sambil itu mendegar juga di lain² frekuensi. Cuba jugak untuk memancar, menggunakan handy dengan kuasa 5 watt dan antenna ¼ λ. tapi tak berapa berjaya walaupun feedbackdari repeater diterima dengan S9.

Dalam perjalanan balik pun aku cuba memancar, tapi masih sama. Lalu aku mendengar sahaja disepanjang perjalanan. Sehingga sampai ke kawasan utara, aku berjaya mencapai repeater 9m4rbb dan qso denga beberapa rakan.

Sehingga hari ini, aku masih sekadar mendengar di VHF. cuma sekali sekala jika kedengaran rakan sedang qso dan ingin mendapatkan maklumat, aku akan cuba memanggil.

haha.. apa yang aku merepek ni. tadak idea sebenaqnya. Skang kat tempat kerja baru dan belum sesuaikan diri. Nak kena belajaq benda baru.

Updates as on 7 July 2009... have not been on my shack lately. however i do got myself a new progamming cable for icom n yaesu ft60r. help a fren to set his icom 2200h then resetting n clear some memory on my v8000 n ft60r.

today 7 July, today i got another year older... hopefully this year will be better life. till some other time.. 73

Life lately...

Well lately i seldom active QSO on any repeater ot simplex. Except on 146.550 where i usually ragachew wif local ham. however still not as much as before. Nowadays being busy wif work n family, i hardly grab the mic n work any station on the VHF. well when i got a chance to take the mic n qso i will sure take that opportunity... like last weekend i did make a dx contact with a station in taiping. this is possible maybe due to the antenna that i'm using right now which is the double 5/8 bought from another local ham.

The antenna has been in my store room quite awhile... then i went to a iron workshop to make a boom n joint it wif a satellite dish holder ( ASTRO receiver dish). i havent got time to take the pic yet. later when the mood come then i will post up pic of my new antenna setup.

Calling Channel

Kali ni chek post dalam bahasa Melayu... musim perayaan menjelang tiba... Aidil Fitri tak lama lagi.. terbaca satu post do blog Kak Yong yang ada menyebut sedikit tentang calling channel... so rakan2 apakah calling channel yang akan digunakan.. hari raya nanti mungkin saya mungkin akan byk travel... so seperti kata kak yong, kita mungkin akan terserempak dengan rakan2 radio yg lain di jalanan... so insyaAllah kita jumpa di frekuensi... saya akan monitor 145.500 @ mana-mana repeater yg ada @ simplek2 yang selalu digunakan dikawasan sekitar.... :)

Today Is My Birthday...

Today is my birthday. Today i turn 30 already. Just like any other birthday... it just a normal day. Life must go on. A lots of thing has happen to me all this 30 years. Lots of thing that i need to do to fulfill my dreams. Today I'm happy with my life. i got a wife, a son n a soon to be son / daughter. my beloved wife now pregnant almost 3 month. Hopefully she will deliver a baby girl. However a boy or a girl.. it does not matter.. I'm thanksfull for another child. My son already 2yr++ n by this October he will be 3 yr.

This year i'm celebrating my birthday wif new hobby. Well actually i've been intersted wif this radio quite somtime already... but only this year i started to get myself into Amatuer Radio seriusly. However still alot that i need to learn about Amatuer Radio eventhough i've got my ticket to "Fly on the Frequencies"...

Next.. i want complete my radio shack with all that is needed as a HAM. now i only got a mobile VHF transciever, 2 handy talkie. Which is 1 use in my jelopy. while my mobile rig use at home base. Looking forward to get a HF set to further explore the band that is permitted on my B class licence n to listen to all other HF band available.

1 day i will upgrade my 9W to 9M... however it is along way to go and soon it will be...

Just another post...

Hi all.. its been awhile i haven't post anything. It all due my busyness... its also due to no connection to the internet at home. However even though busy wif work n life.. i did spent some time to joint some activity regarding amateur radio. 1 of it is the Emergency Communication Drill organized by MARTS Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (R.A.C.E.S.) The training involving the drill on communication during disaster. It is something new to me. there i learn a lot. This including how can we assist in the emergency situation, what equipment do we need, how to set up a station, how to communicate with other station during emergency or disaster.

On that day, at first we check what equipment does we have. everyone brought their equipment and share it in order to make the communication with Amatuer Radio is possible. this including bringing the antenna, poles, mobile rig, handy talkie, cables, connector, etc..etc.. Then get ourself into group n the set up station in certain areas. Then we start to sent messages, relay messages from other station.

The training is good for us amatuer radio operator. Amatuer radio is not just to ragchew n talk with other. We can put it into a good use to mankind. I will put up the pic during that day. It was a fun activity. I'm looking forward to join more of this kind of activity. thanks for reading...

i have no idea...

It's been awhile since my last post to this blog... I have no idea what to blog. last weekend i did a few QSO wif some local station on simplex n repeater. we talk almost anything that come to our mind. yesterday (sunday) while i scanning though my rig saved frequencies i heard few station QSO-ing... After awhile, then i join them. then we started to talk about remote control (RC )stuff. its been a very fun topic. Coz i myself interested in RC but it was not as deeply as my interest in radio. hi hi hi :D After a few Over on the QSO.. all station signing out due to other matter arise.

Later at night, just b4 i went for dinner had a little QSO wif Cikgu Rahman 9M2AR n Poh 9W2POH. eventhough it just a short QSO. It is a very meaningful QSO.. y?? later i'll blog about it. just wait.. hi... hi... hi...

Kesihatan kurang memuaskan...

2-3 hari ni aku kurang sihat.. deman n sakit perut...gastrik... arrgghh... mengelupuq jugak la kena penangan gastrik... punca dia??? aku pun tak pasti... yang aku tau 1-2 hari seblm tu aku ada minum ayaq gas.. doktor dah pesan, aku tak leh minum ayaq tu.. sbb perut aku sensitif dgn gas tu.. tapi ketegaq.. tak mau dengaq... haahaa haa amik habuan...

dalam dok sakit, aku masih sempat on radio dan monitor... semalam (khamis,10 april 2008) aku terdengar pak zul 9W2FLY memanggil rakan2 di pulau yang dapat membantu sorang rakan ham menunjukkan jalan ke padang kota. pada masa itu aku sedang menunaikan panggilan alam. sebaik sahaja selesai.. aku menyahut panggilan pak zul dan membantu rakan tersebut. orangnya ialah Pak Ngah 9W2RT dari Sik kedah. Alhamdulillah... Pak Ngah selamat sampai ke destinasi.

Selepas selesai menunjukkan jalan kepada Pak ngah aku kembali ke Bendera berQSO pulak dgn Pak FLY... Sambil dok bersembang situ terdengaq satu callsign ingin bergabung... 9W2NLM Cikgu Alam memancar dari mobile disekitar Tikam Batu menghala ke arah selatan... Pancaran Cikgu Alam kurang memuaskan dan menurut pak FLY kawasan tu mmg kawasan kurang menguntungkan. Selepas beberapa kali cubaan Cikgu Alam masih gagal memancar dengan baik dan terus QRX... Kemudian beberapa stesen join in.. 9W2HLM, 9W2DHL....

Pemancaran cikgu alam semakin elok bila dia dah sampai ke kawasan kepala batas. Pelbagai topik diperbincangkan. Aku kemudian sign off sbb nak kena makan ubat. haha lepas makan ubat teruih lena...

salam perkenalan kepada semua yang sudi menjengok ke blog chek. Ini kali pertama chek menulis di blog. Sebelum ini tatau nak bloq apa. La ni chek ada hobi baru. Dah lama berminat dgn radio ni. Mengapa Radio???
